Ingredients To Prepare Corn Peas Pulao Recipe
- 2 cup basmati rice
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 1 cup green peas
- 10-12 cashews
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 4 or 5 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 small onion
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 4 tbsp oil or ghee
- 1/2 tsp each cumin and mustard seeds
- salt to taste
Preparation Method of Corn Peas Pulao Recipe
- First Soak Basmati Rice by adding 3 1/2 cup of water for 20 minutes and prepare Rice. And let it cool.
- In a heavy saucepan heat the oil, add cumin and mustard seeds to splutter, then and onions, bay leaves, ginger garlic paste and fry them until they turn into brown.
- To same oil add the corn, peas, turmeric, chilli, salt and masala powders.
- Cover and cook till they turn into brown.
- Then add the cooked rice and mix well and wait for 3,4 minutes.
- And garnish with cashews and enjoy. Serve hot with curd.
