Ingredients To Prepare Pulao in Jiffy Recipe

  • 2 cups basmati rice or any long grained rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 maggi chicken cubes
  • a few cloves
  • cinnamon
  • 2 or 3 small cardamoms
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • one tomato sliced
  • chillies as required
  • 1 tsp each of garlic and ginger paste
  • pinch of turmeric

Preparation Method of Pulao in Jiffy Recipe

  1. Wash the rice and leave to dry for about 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile put some oil in a vessel and when heated add the cloves, cinnamon cardamom and bay leaf.
  3. Thereafter add the sliced onions when they turns pink add the tomatoes, the ginger-garlic paste and chillies when everything has been fried well add the rice and fry for atleast 3 minutes.
  4. Add the four cups water crumble the cubes and add along with a pinch of turmeric stir gently and close the lid leaving the pulao to be cooked on a low flame.
